Vale View Apartment in Porlock Weir is a light and airy, spacious first-floor apartment, within the west wing of a beautiful Edwardian hunting lodge. Patio doors open onto a private balcony from with table and chairs overlooking the front of the property. Sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms.
Accommodation
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher and a washer-dryer. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of saucepans, cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
A television (with Freeview) with DVD is in the sitting room. Wireless broadband is available at no extra cost and a hairdryer is also provided for your convenience.
A cot and/or high chair can be provided on request.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Vale View Apartment has central heating throughout which is controlled by a thermostat and can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Please note, the apartment does have wifi but being in such a rural area the wifi can be temperamental on occasion. Please therefore make alternate arrangements if you need to rely on using the wifi during your stay.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you to the beach or on day trips.
A tea tray is provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided.

Lovely walks. Great views and surroundings. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Fab bath. Loved Porlock Bay Oysters down at the weir. Had lovely meals at The Ship both top and bottom! Would definitely go again.

Lost count on how many times we have stayed here, the apartment is fantastic. A short walk to the pub and the beach, can recommend the walk along the coast to Porlock if a visit to the shops is needed.

All fine and we would return, but gave 4 stars as an info pack would be useful, particularly to guests who are staying for the 1st time, and we have always found useful suggestions etc in the cottage guest book, as returnees to Porlock we were fine but it may benefit new visitors.
