Little Acre is a well-received cottage in Devon, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the quiet surroundings, proximity to shops and beaches, and the thoughtful touches from the hosts. While some minor issues with facilities and Wi-Fi are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its tidiness. The high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.
The location is frequently praised for being quiet yet conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. Its proximity to both Torquay and Babbacombe is appreciated, although one review mentions the area being more built up than expected.
Many guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm and homely feel. However, there are a few comments about the living room sofa and the need for more hanging space for clothes, which slightly affects the comfort score.
The cottage is generally well-equipped, but some guests report issues with Wi-Fi reliability and the absence of Freeview channels. There are also mentions of a non-working dishwasher and the need for sharper knives, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
Guests mention a welcome pack and good communication from the owner, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, the score reflects the positive feedback without setting an expectation of gifts for future guests.

Location is brilliant with shops restaurants and pub in the same road as well as Kentâs Cavern. Beds was really comfortable. Too many books and games which made it slightly cluttered. I would recommend this cottage.

It has everything you need and more. The location is great to get around, be it on foot, by the bus, or take the car if you must . Will definitely go back the next time we come down that way
