It was peaceful place, with much entertainment provided by local wildlife rabbits, hares, squirrels, and herds of deer parading around the annex throughout both day and night. The accommodation was both comfortable and luxurious, with all the amenities we needed. The views over the Orwell coast to Felixstowe docks were breathtaking and truly came alive at night. A fantastic relaxing stay to get away from it all, thoroughly recommend it.

This property is truly a treasure. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the living area is exceptional and plenty of wildlife ranging from hares to deer. The view across to the port is captivating and especially lovely first thing in the morning through the mist. Anna and Ian have the right mix between being available for any questions, but also letting guests have their privacy. A couple of minor suggestions, providing a brief instruction hints/tips sheet on heating the hot tub. Adding a wifi booster plug in the property to ensure consistent strong coverage. To conclude, we had the best break, lovely and relaxing. Highly recommend to people thinking about staying here, it's special.

We loved the hot tub. You need to know how to light a fire though. Take plenty of logs with you. Very quiet & private. Resident deers & hares. A real treat.
