This elegant medieval manor house has 3 acres of walled gardens, and is located just off the A14, 3 miles from Stowmarket. The ancient village of Haughley has been listed as a site of national importance by English Heritage.
Home-grown vegetables, fruits from the orchard, and eggs from Haughley House’s own hens are used to prepare delicious breakfasts. High-quality local meats are used to prepare evening meals, and the menu also includes homemade canapés.
Guests can enjoy drinks in the oak-panelled drawing room or the cosy sitting room. Afternoon tea is available either inside or in the pretty garden, where there is also a croquet lawn that you are free to use.
Rooms are in the oldest part of Haughley House, and all benefit from free Wi-Fi, an en suite bathroom and picturesque views. A TV and tea and coffee making facilities can be provided if you wish.
