Telford is a really homely, well equipped family holiday home. We have stayed here previously and like the proximity to the town, the supermarkets, the beach, walking. The beds were really comfortable with a choice of duvets, and it was great to come back from hiking to lounge in the spacious, private garden. The property provides games for all ages (we first stayed here just after Covid and these were restricted). The kitchen is well provided for in terms of equipment, crockery and everything needed to rustle up meals. The house is well-placed for visiting neighbouring places - we like Dunwich, Thorpeness, Snape concert hall, Woodbridge, Orford - and LOVE Aldeburgh!
Mr Burke
A remarkably comfortable and well-equipped house, very convenient for the town centre. To find a place with a big garden and parking in Aldeburgh is rare. It's clear the owners still cherish this as a holiday home and not just a rental with the amount of toys, games and equipment that is available. Sometimes rentals have no "soul", but you feel instantly welcome here. Plenty of books to read and the information boxes are very useful. The welcome pack was appreciated.

We have enjoyed a wonderful week here and were lucky to have sunny weather after one wet day. We loved looking around me area (our first visit to Suffolk since the 1980's), at the towns and the castles (Framlingham & Orford). The walks were all good. The highlights were the guided tour at Sutton Hoo and our visit to RSPB Minsmere. The restaurants we tried were all good but found that booking well ahead was necessary at this time. Aldeburgh and this house were a great find!
