Guests say

Tamarisk in Aldeburgh is a well-loved property, praised for its prime location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests have repeatedly enjoyed the homely feel, spacious rooms with sea views, and the large kitchen as a focal point for gatherings. While most feedback is positive, a few guests have noted areas needing maintenance and freshening up.

The property is consistently described as clean and warm, with multiple reviews affirming its tidiness. However, one review mentioned the need for a more immaculate standard, citing specific issues, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and shops, with guests appreciating the stunning views and easy access to local amenities. The consistent commendation across reviews justifies a high score.

Guests find the property comfortable, with en-suite rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The presence of large bedrooms and a homely feel contributes to a high comfort level, although there were minor concerns about bed fixtures.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen. However, there are comments on the need for better pillows, loose fixtures, and some wear and tear, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the owner, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Tamarisk is a house that provides space, comfort, easy access to beach and town and a great atmosphere.

Love all the rooms having en-suite . Location is great . Love the fire , the huge kitchen . If I had to be a bit picky I would say maybe needs a lick of paint on the walls going up the stairs . Just to freshen it up a bit , but other than that it’s a lovely house and always clean and warm .
