Guests say

The Old Town Hall in Dunwich is highly praised for its fantastic location, with guests loving its proximity to the beach, pub, and local walks. The property is well-equipped and ideal for family gatherings, offering a large kitchen/dining area and a separate sitting room. While some guests encountered issues with bedroom layout and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many planning return visits.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.

The location is consistently lauded for being close to the beach, local pubs, and scenic walks. It is also well-situated for exploring nearby attractions, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat.

Guests find the property comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and cosy lounge. However, some concerns about the bedroom layout and a faulty WC slightly affect the comfort level for larger groups or those requiring more privacy.

The property is described as well-equipped, with a bonus of tea and coffee supplies. However, there are reports of a small fridge for the property size, a faulty WC, and issues with heating and grill cleanliness, indicating some room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While guests appreciate the well-equipped property and the bonus of tea and coffee supplies, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and therefore this score is set to null.

Ideal location for the beach and lovely walks. Lovely courtyard garden which is quite the suntrap. And lovely views of Dunwich beach from the frost rooms. Be aware of the house and bedroom layout when booking to see if it meets your needs.

What a gorgeous cottage! We were so lucky with the weather too. The beach is just a few minutes walk and you can see the sea and the marshes from the lovely lounge window. The sofas were really comfy and the kitchen well stocked. The courtyard garden had sun most of the day and had masses of seating. Cottage location is hard to beat and the short walk to Greyfriars in the evening was so peaceful. We even saw scarlet tiger moths in the churchyard and it was possible to watch the marsh harrier from the lounge/main bedroom - we didn't though as we spent most of the days outside :) There are three different places to eat in the adorable village and the museum and Ship Inn are both fabulous and just three doors down! Walks everywhere! Gorgeous in every way and mum had the best birthday yet (this one was her 80th!) Hard to beat.
