Guests say

Saxon Lodge Cottage in Felixstowe is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, the warm hospitality of hosts Jill and Nigel, and the thoughtful welcome packs. The property is well-maintained and offers easy access to local attractions, making it an ideal choice for a seaside holiday.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its spotless condition. One minor note was made about mugs with residual grime, but this seems an isolated comment in the context of overall positive feedback.

The location is consistently described as convenient and perfect, with easy access to the beach, pier, shops, and restaurants. The proximity to local amenities and attractions contributes to the high score.

Comfort is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the beds incredibly comfortable and the cottage cosy. There was a single mention of a less comfortable chair, but overall, the comfort level is rated very highly.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property described as well-equipped and maintained. However, a few guests noted the absence of a dishwasher and minor issues like a weak shower pressure and the lack of a bread knife, which slightly lowers the score.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the welcome packs and additional touches like toys and games for children. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed.
