Park off road and be welcomed into this beautiful detached cottage, enjoying the views as you unpack with ease before making yourself at home in the sitting room, where a selection of sofas allows you to relax with a cup of tea beside a traditional fireplace housing an inglenook woodburning stove, and there is a second sitting room resting alongside the dining room, with a selection of book cases and double doors opening up to the fresh countryside air. When mealtimes call, the kitchen/diner offers ample amenities and a traditional feel to the décor, and you can enjoy a family meal at the dining table. Four bedrooms can be found within this stunning property, each homely and with storage, including a king-size with a Juliette balcony, a double with built-in wardrobes with sliding mirrored doors, a ground-floor double day bed with French doors opening up onto the garden and a ground-floor single day bed, as well as a ground-floor shower room for your refreshment. The garden is simply stunning vast, with a large lawn space for children to play on and a selection of mature trees, as well as a fantastic space to dine alfresco. Countryside walks weave through Parham, and you can take a stroll along the River Ore. A short distance from the property you will find the fantastic town of Framlingham where a selection of local shops, eateries and a convenience store can be found, so why not enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage in the sunshine? Framlingham’s amazing castle is not to be missed, an incredible structure which you can explore, and picnic in the grounds. The property is also within easy reach of the Suffolk coast, with the town of Aldeburgh offering more eateries, independent shops, coastal walks and a brilliant pebble beach. The beautiful market town of Framlingham is mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086) and has been known since Anglo Saxon times, when it consisted of several manors which William the Conqueror (1066-1087) presented to Roger Bigod. The town is of particular interest as it has a large castle and mere which was built between 1190 and 1210. The town is surrounded by lovely villages to explore and has two of the oldest working post boxes and one of Britain’s smallest houses, with the footprint measuring 6.1x2.2m! Today, the town offers a number of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and it is also home to Framlingham Summer Arts Festival.

    It’s a real home from home, so comfortable and warm and with everything that you need for a relaxed holiday. The layout of the cottage worked perfectly for us, we all had enough privacy with cosy areas and loads of space in the beautiful big garden for the grandchildren.

    The house was wonderful , it took us a while to get used to the oven , but got there in the end :) Just a little bit of feedback , the back door lock is very stiff it was a struggle to get it locked each time . Otherwise all was perfect thank you .
