A short walk will bring you to the quaint village of Westleton, which boasts two pubs, a village store and even a bookshop. TThis area is within walking distance of RSPB Minsmere and National Trust at Dunwich" instead of a few miles from saxmudham as we feel rspb and national trust Dunwich beach overlooking the sea is much more attractive and important especially as the clients we have been having in the past & present are primarily bird watchers and walkers. This homely cottage is just six miles from the well-serviced town of Saxmundham and popular places such as Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Orford Castle, Sutton Hoo and Orford Ness, are all within easy reach. Ferndown is an ideal base for exploring Suffolk and its lovely coastal areas.
Westleton is an idyllic village near the Suffolk coast, nestled between Southwold and Aldeburg and offers all the attributes you could hope for in a Suffolk village, with a village green complete with pond and ducks. The village has a store, a bookshop where you can also enjoy a tea or coffee whilst browsing, an old fashioned garage, as well as two pubs.
