Southwold has some great shops, cafes, delis, pubs and restaurants so you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Alternatively visit one of the independent grocers, bakers and butchers and cook up a treat. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. It would be helpful to mention that 1 room backs onto the pub garden and during the summer you will have noise every night till after 11pm.
