Situated just 500 metres from Southwold beach and its famous pier, you can be chasing the waves, building sandcastles, and enjoying the amusements in no time. Revel in all this coastal town has to offer during your stay with a walk (1.4 miles) to the harbour to take the Coastal Voyager boat ride out to sea, before returning for a scrumptious seafood lunch. You can always hop over the river on the Walberswick ferry whilst here too. Back in the town, there are plenty of independent shops to peruse, as well as pubs, restaurants and an excellent ice cream parlour. A little outside of Southwold (1.7 miles) will bring you to the Old Hall which has a café, maize maze, and cycle hire and is a great place for families. If you fancy doing something different, why not head towards Wangford (2.1 miles) and pick your own flowers during the summer months.
If you are looking for a quieter spot whilst still being in the incredibly popular coastal town of Southwold, this could be the property for you. Sleeping four guests, this cottage is the ideal bolthole for a small family or couple coming away to the seaside. A striking yellow door welcomes you into this holiday home where there is a kitchen fully equipped to prepare delicious meals and a living room with comfy sofas and a dining table. A large window has been placed between both rooms to allow the light to shine through making the space even lighter and brighter. Upstairs plays host to both bedrooms, one double and one bunk bed, as well as the family bathroom. There are plenty of toys, books and games for the whole family to enjoy too.
The enclosed garden is accessed through the French doors from the living room and has a dining table and chairs for enjoying meals outside. A beautiful mature beech tree offers some welcome shade on hot sunny days in the garden. At the front of the cottage, a wooden bench is perfectly placed to enjoy coffee in the mornings as the sun begins to rise.
Mrs Johnson
A lovely, exceptionally clean, comfortable house for the two of us. Everything we needed was catered for. Additional parking was a bonus, as was the garden for a welcoming cuppa after a day out exploring Southwold and the surrounding area. Ten minutes walk from the house was the pier and the blue flag award beach. We would definitely recommend this holiday accommodation.
Mrs Cooper
The house was so comfortable and really well equipped. The location is lovely so close to everything and we found some great walks on our doorsteps. We would love to return.
Mr Ashwood
It was a perfect holiday residence. Immaculate and welcoming to all comers.
