One of two quaint barn conversions resting in the village of Ottringham, Yorkshire, Holly Barn is a great family getaway. Park off-road and be welcomed by a pretty courtyard, an ideal spot for alfresco dining in the sunshine with views of the local church. Enter the property and discover a well-fitted kitchen housing all of the home-from-home amenities needed to cook up a storm, and here there is also a dining space and a cloakroom. The sitting room is a charming space filled with natural light, featuring wooden flooring, a bare brick fireplace with an electric fire stove, and you can recline in a selection of stylish chairs or access the courtyard via patio windows. Ascend the stairs to find exposed original brickwork, giving the property a sense of history, and here there is a contemporary bathroom where you can freshen up before settling down into one of the three bedrooms, including two tastefully furnished singles with tall airy ceilings, exposed beams and floral feature walls, and a king-size bedroom with wooden flooring, stylish décor in grey hues and a dressing table situated beside a TV, ideal for catching up on your favourite shows. So well thought out with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The only things that could make it better would be: bath sheets as the towels are small, electric fans as it was warm and a washing machine rather than a dishwasher. However, these would enhance things as it is a wonderful holiday home and a great welcome pack too
