There was a nice stove with lots of kindling and logs in the shed for the chilly nights. if you needed them. Although we did not have dogs, it is obvious that it is a dog friendly house and garden from dog treats to a safe enclosed garden. The only downside was the downstairs toilet/bath/shower. Not a problem for most people. A fantastic bakers/butchers just a few minutes away and two pubs (we didn't go to, so cannot give any opinion) The interesting feature was the village had a hat hire place, so if you are planning an event, a must go to.

Will definitely recommend to others.

The photos donât do it justice. It is very well equipped and has a very friendly pub almost opposite which does really nice food, big portions. There is also an old fashioned butchers in the village selling good range of high quality meats, homemade pies etc. We would definitely recommend staying at The Stables.
