Whitby is a bustling town resting at the mouth of the River Esk in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire. The location was excellent for all attractions and amenities. There were a few wee niggles eg washer out of order, beds very soft and low, no clocks working, toilet seat broken. But overall we didn't let it spoil our stay.

Very limited outdoor space. Photo image does not fully indicate how small it is. Bedding and towels very good. Bed a bit low for us and on the soft side. Creaking floors upstairs noticed with every step. Limited home comforts, no TV or radio upstairs. Clock in bedroom time is wrong. Wall clock downstairs not working, probably just needs a new battery.
