Snaptrip says

Rose Cottage receives high praise for its peaceful rural setting, cosy atmosphere, and warm welcome from the hosts and their pets. Guests appreciate the tranquillity, the surrounding countryside, and the comfort provided. While some mention the property's compact size and a few maintenance issues, the overall experience is deemed positive with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Rose Cottage to be clean and comfortable. However, one review mentioned dust and cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement in thoroughness. The majority of feedback, though, indicates a high level of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and idyllic, surrounded by countryside and offering easy access to local attractions. Despite one review mentioning inaccurate directions, the overall sentiment about the location is very positive.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with several reviews highlighting good sleeps and a cosy environment. However, one review cited uncomfortable furniture and a cold property, which slightly lowers the overall comfort score.

The cottage is well-equipped according to most guests, but some reviews point out issues like a leaking kettle, a problematic oven door, and a lack of kitchen tongs. These maintenance concerns affect the facilities score.

While guests have mentioned a warm welcome and some have received gifts such as wine and mince pies, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtfulness in the form of gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

Access to fields down to the river to run the dog, was really handy. A little dated, but spotlessly clean. Plenty of very hot water, a powerful shower over the bath. Open fire, you can buy logs from the owners. Would be happy to stay again.

The cottage is small but comfortable and the kitchen somewhat compact. Some problems contacting Sykes when Emails went astray but okay in the end. Richard
