Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and well-equipped kitchen. The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions and beaches. The enclosed garden is a hit with pet owners, and the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts and a well-maintained space contribute to a pleasant stay. Some guests mention minor issues with comfort, such as bed size and lounge chairs, but overall experiences are very positive.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. The attention to detail in preparation for guests is frequently commended.

The location is generally well-regarded, with guests enjoying the quiet country setting and the convenience for exploring Anglesey. Proximity to beaches and local amenities is also noted, although some guests mention occasional traffic and aircraft noise.

Comfort is praised in terms of the cosy and snug feel of the cottage, with several guests finding the beds and seating satisfactory. However, there are remarks about the size of the main bed and the comfort of the lounge chairs, which suggests room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a fully equipped kitchen and additional amenities like a log burner and BBQ. Some guests suggest updates to certain items like frying pans and knives, and there are comments about slow internet and a small fridge, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

The thoughtfulness of the owners is evident through mentions of welcome gifts and their responsiveness. While such gestures are greatly appreciated, it is noted that these are personal touches and may not be a consistent feature for all stays.

Property well fitted out, bed in single bedroom noisy and not very comfortable. Did find a slug in the kitchen. Could do with a bigger fridge/freezer even for 2 people. Hanging rails OK but overhung bed in double bedroom. The cottage is otherwise lovely.

It’s our 3rd visit to this cozy little cottage. Even the dogs recognised it and got all excited. It feels like home away from home. Well be back.

  • Sara

It’s located in a quiet rural spot with fields all around but is only a short, pleasant drive from Rhosneigr and its glorious beaches. The little courtyard garden is perfect for al fresco lunches or sitting out in the evenings. And our dog enjoyed her stay just as much as we did, with quiet lanes, footpaths and dog-friendly beaches all within easy reach. 10/10 from us!
