About this property

4 The Quay is a townhouse with glorious beach and sea views across Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey. This holiday house has a luxurious feel, has breathtaking views and is within walking distance of a brilliant pub and some excellent places to eat. That’s not to mention being on the sandy beach within less than a minute from leaving the front door!

Head upstairs past a wonderful painting in the stairway, and enter the open plan living space. In here doors open out onto the balcony where you can take a cuppa or glass of wine and just soak up the sea air and the sublime sea views.

The sitting area has comfortable sofas around an unusual wall-set gas flame fire. There’s a 40" flat screen TV with BT TV and a Sony BDV E3100 Blu Ray sound system with Bluetooth so there is entertainment aplenty. The large dining table offers views across the balcony to the beach beyond. If you throw open the doors, it will give you the feel of dining al fresco!

The bespoke kitchen offers everything you need to make cooking easy! There’s a coffee maker that only takes beans so the owner leaves you a bag, an inset sink, dishwasher, gas range type hob, electric oven and combination microwave cooker. The large central island doubles as a handy breakfast bar.

A utility room has a washer/dryer and its own shower, ideal for rinsing off sandy toes after coming in off the beach.

Each bedroom has a combination TV and DVD player with freeview. There are two ground floor bedrooms - a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. Both have views across the bay and they share a bathroom with shower over the bath, loo and wash hand basin.

Upstairs is a master bedroom with balcony and ensuite shower room, loo, basin and stainless steel towel rail. There’s also a twin bedroom with ensuite shower room, loo and wash hand basin, electric towel rail.

Outside there is a garden with some grass front and back of the property. There is allocated off road parking for two cars. The balcony with stunning views, as well as the beach being so close, more than make up for the fact that there isn’t a garden.

From 4 The Quay you literally step out of the front door onto the Anglesey Coastal Footpath. Walks, activities, attractions and fab places to eat and drink are all close by. If you want to recharge your batteries, you can always park up the car and stay put for some relaxation as there’s so much to do on your doorstep. You will never tire of the ever-changing views from this holiday house - just be warned you might not want to go home!

Along the northeast coast of Anglesey is the very large (4.5 mile-long) bay of Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name of Traeth Coch (Red Beach) rining true as the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow, and at low tide almost 10 square miles of sand is uncovered to provides safe bathing, perfect for family fun, fishing and miles of stunning, scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 3 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris, which boasts a 13th century moated castle, lovely buildings housing excellent shops, olde-worlde pubs, restaurants, bistros, museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a beautiful location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey.

A beautiful property, with just amazing views of which one could never tire from, day or night, rain or shine. Spacious and welcoming, yet warm and homely, everything you need and more, any issues resolved within a few hours of which we only had 1,just a light bulb and Gareth was there to fix it promptly. Red Wharf bay is a wonderful relaxing place with 3 good eateries on the door step, and perfectly situated to explore the island. Four the Quay is a perfect place to stay which we will certainly recommend but also would like to keep it a secret, we will definitely be returning in the future as will other family members after our recommendations. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday and holiday home one to remember.

I mentioned the leaking shower on the ground floor last year andthe problem still exists. Wet floors and slippy tiles were difficult.
