Guests say

Fishermans Cottage in Conwy is highly praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owner. The proximity to local attractions and the convenience of private parking, despite being tight for larger vehicles, are recurrent positive notes. Some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are mentioned, but overall, guests seem to have had enjoyable stays.

Guests consistently commend the cottage for its exceptional cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting the spotless condition upon arrival. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences reported.

The cottage's location is frequently celebrated for its convenience to Conwy's town centre and attractions. Its proximity to the castle walls and the ease of exploring North Wales from this base are particularly appreciated, although the hill leading to the cottage is noted as a slight challenge for some.

Comfort is generally well-received, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy. However, some guests mention that the sofas are slightly uncomfortable and the space in the main bedroom is tight, which slightly affects the overall comfort score.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped and offering a range of amenities, including a modern bathroom and kitchen. Nonetheless, there are occasional comments about maintenance issues such as the shower tap and the need for more coat hooks, which slightly lower the score in this category.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful extras provided, such as dog bowls and treats, fresh flowers, and a welcome pack. While these gestures are highly valued, it is important to note that such gifts are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Convenient for town. Parking a bit tricky at times due to workmen.

I have a Mercedes and first time trying to get through - I scratched the side. As you have to pay for parking outside it was not an option to leave it away from the property. Otherwise a lovely small house and I appreciated the small touches added as well as lots of information about recycling etc.
