The village of Henllan is just a short stroll from the cottage and in the evening you can amble down to visit the Llindir Inn, a beautiful Grade II listed thatched pub, dating back to 1229. There are some wonderful walks from the cottage, the nearby Clwydian Way leads to Denbigh, just two and a half miles away, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore and enjoy the beautiful scenic countryside. An ideal base for a quiet holiday or break away at any time of the year.

The small North Wales village of Henllan is situated between Denbigh and the Diamond Jubilee City of St Asaph. The village offers a shop/Post Office and a pub, which serves good food. St Asaph was awarded city status in 2012 and is best known for its magnificent white cathedral. In September, the city comes alive with the arrival of the North Wales International Music festival, which takes place across numerous locations, culminating for the last few years in a television finale, broadcast from the cathedral.
