The cottage's location is celebrated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions in North Wales and Chester. Its remote yet accessible setting offers both peace and convenience, making it a favoured spot among guests.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy beds and well-furnished living spaces. However, a recurring suggestion for the addition of another bathroom indicates that comfort could be further improved for larger groups.
The facilities at Orchard Cottage are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and thoughtful amenities. Some guests note the need for minor updates and additions in the kitchen and the benefit of an extra bathroom, which slightly impacts the score.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently commended, with guests appreciative of welcome gifts and extra touches. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

It is a quiet location with beautiful views and everything you might need for a week away. Spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. It was our first visit to this area and there is so much to see that we had a packed week.

Would recommend. The only downside is the drive needs some maintenance especially as you turn in. There is a chance of grounding the car and the pot holes are enormous. If this were fixed it would be absolutely perfect.
