After a day of exploring, soothe your muscles with a blissful soak in the bath, before choosing from one of three well-appointed bedrooms to catch your rest in, a king-size, a further king-size with zip/link and a double bunk with single over, ensuring ample sleeping arrangements for all parties. Awake from a leisurely slumber and meet your guests out in the private garden for morning coffee and captivating views of one of North Wales most famous mountains. Set out for the day and explore the local village of Dinorwig, where you can treat your guests to a fuss-free breakfast at the renowned café, the Lodge Dinorwig, before making your way down the wooded path to the vast Llyn Padarn in Llanberis, a watersports haven, where you can take to the waters by kayak, canoe or paddleboard. If you’re more of a walker, head off to Snowdon, the Glyders, Carneddau or any of the other beautiful mountains in the area, promising incomparable views and great photo opportunities along the way! If you don’t feel like walking but came for the views, hop aboard the Snowdon Mountain Railway where you will still experience panoramic views on your way up, as well as pretty waterfalls and a ruined chapel. There is also the option for a train tour around the lake where you can sit back and relax on a vintage steam train. If you’re looking to delve into history then a visit to the Dinorwic Quarry is a must, a captivating National Heritage site offering a fascinating museum in a Victorian quarry, as well as the nearby ruins of the 13th-century Dolbadarn Castle. The awe-inspiring Isle of Anglesey and North Wales Coast is within easy touring distance, home to an abundance of quaint villages and some of the UK’s top beaches, such as the glorious golden sands of Newborough Beach and the picturesque Red Wharf Bay. The cottage has amazing views and is ideally located for both enjoying hiking in the mountains and playing on the beaches of Anglesey. On bad weather days we enjoyed the cosy fireplace and big TV. The nearby Beran petrol station has a surprisingly good shop for groceries despite its size.
