Guests say

Guests appreciate the cottage's excellent location, a short stroll from the beach and town centre, with a spacious south-facing balcony. The property is generally well-kept and comfortable, particularly the beds, and is conveniently situated next to a supermarket. Some guests noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and facilities.

The property was described as reasonably clean by a guest, but some noted issues with sticky floors and kitchen items that needed washing before use.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, town high street, and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for holidaymakers.

The beds were noted to be particularly comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay, although one review mentioned a potentially hazardous stair gate.

Mixed feedback on facilities, with some guests satisfied, while others reported issues with water pressure, lack of a tumble dryer, and insufficient kitchenware.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Great location, so handy to park up and forget the car. The property is basic and a little tired in places, but made for a great holiday.

  • Mr Walls

Good position, close to the Spar and only a very short walk to beach and town.

  • Mr Morris Segar

Water pressure was very poor. The shower was poor. No toilet brush in the property. Told that there was no washing machine at property but there was. Communication kackin.Needs tumble dryer, as no real drying facilities. Double glazed unit seal has gone. Misted window. Kitchen poorly serviced, lack of utensils and crockery appeared to be a mix of items. Only one serving dish. Which was just a salad/ trifle bowl. No full size dinner plates. Immersion heater was noisy as if airlock in system. Switched it off after hearing banging noise! Unfortunately for the money we paid, we would not stay at this property again as we believe it was overpriced for what we got. Location is excellent, and the property was reasonably clean.
