This stylish holiday home, Mairannedd, enjoys a central location in Llanbedrog. With ample access to beaches, golf and walks, this is a superb home-from-home for a family of six. Upon arriving at the property, take advantage of the ample off-road parking available (with further on-street parking nearby) and make your way inside this fabulous abode. The living/dining room is a brilliant space, embellished with neutral tones and chic furnishings, whilst being brightened by a large bay window; the sitting area has been made for relaxation with abundant seating for the whole group to relax on as you watch a movie on the wall-mounted TV. Progress to the galley kitchen/diner to find a contemporary room featuring classy shaker-style fittings and ample appliances that would please any budding chef, including an American-style fridge/freezer and a wine chiller; the space also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. After making a feast for the family, enjoy it in the living/dining room’s welcoming dining area with a bottle of wine, or as a quick treat at the kitchen’s breakfast bar. As the day comes to an end, head upstairs to three wonderful bedrooms, the first one being a fabulous king-size room with its own TV, another being a twin room enjoying a vanity and ample storage, and the third room being a bunk room with views of the countryside. The bathroom is an impressive spot to get ready for the day in, covered in gorgeous, marble tiling and boasting contemporary fittings, from a sunken bath and walk-in shower to a floating vanity with an illuminated mirror; the property also benefits from an external cloakroom, for added convenience. Why not enjoy a barbecue with your group in the private rear yard, where you can relax in the sun on the rattan furniture? With the beach on your doorstep, plenty of fun in the sun and sand awaits in Llanbedrog; after basking in the sun, make your way back into the village for a bite to eat at the Glyn Y Weddw Arms, before embarking on a walk through the nearby woodland and heathland, or start your hike around the Llŷn Peninsula via the Llŷn Coastal Path! Travel north to find the market town of Pwllheli, where the esteemed Plas Heli sailing event area awaits, where you can relax at the on-site café as you watch the boats sail by; the town is additionally served by two large beaches and a golf club! Venture in the opposite direction to find the picture-postcard village of Abersoch, where you can enjoy sailing or surfing along the shores of Abersoch Main Beach and Abersoch Harbour Beach, before strolling along the high street, dipping in-and-out of independent shops boasting local specialties, and dining out at a wide array of eateries. Take your break further and explore the local area, with Aberdaron, Llanengan and Rhiw just moments away, or continue further towards Snowdonia National Park, where you can stop at Criccieth and Porthmadog on the way. For a fantastic break in an excellent base, choose Mairannedd.
Llanbedrog, a beach village on the Llyn Peninsula, is a great place to start exploring this gorgeous region of North Wales. The community has two pubs, both of which serve meals. There are various sandy beaches, isolated bays, and treks nearby. Sailing, fishing, pony trekking, and golf are all available nearby, as is easy access to the Snowdonia National Park. A scenic drive away is the picturesque town of Pwllheli, which has a stunning sandy beach and wonderful views, as well as a regular market that has been running since the 14th century and is popular with tourists and locals for its eclectic mix of art and craftworks, as well as a smaller local produce market on Sundays.

If I was to be very picky, some hooks in the hallway, a clock in the living room & some tea towels would have been fab. Really enjoyed our stay otherwise, couldnât fault it.

The owner has spared no expense in designing an appealing holiday home. However, on arrival at 4pm we were extremely puzzled to see the beds were unmade. In fact they had not been changed. In one bed my grandson found the previous occupant's pyjamas. The bed making team arrived at 4.20. They told us they had been very busy and had already made up the beds in 15 homes that day. They made up the beds very quickly and rather approximately, said they had nothing to do with cleaning and left. The carpets and bathroom floor had evidently not been cleaned. Light bulbs had not been replaced. The shower tray was overfilling because the outlet was clogged with hairs. On our first evening the electricity failed in the kitchen. We tried the contact number provided to ask for help and kept being cut off. This was a pretty miserable start to our 3 night break. I was able to clean the house and my husband eventually found the fuse box in daylight the following day. Several of the spotlights in the kitchen did not work and no replacement bulbs were provided. Basically whoever has been in charge of maintaining this lovely property has been very inefficient. I would certainly not recommend Sykes properties to anyone.
