Guests say

Pant yr Hwch is a well-received cottage in Abersoch, praised for its comfort, spaciousness, and well-equipped kitchen. The beautiful gardens and hot tub are highlights, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable stay. It's ideal for family gatherings, with ample fridge space and dishwashers. The location is appreciated for its proximity to the beach and town, despite a challenging uphill return walk. Some concerns over cleanliness and maintenance were noted, but overall, guests had a fantastic holiday experience.

Most guests did not comment on cleanliness, suggesting satisfaction, but one review highlighted issues with cleanliness in certain areas, including pet odour and cobwebs, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its idyllic setting and convenience, being within walking distance to Abersoch and the beach, despite an uphill return. The rural position is also appreciated for its tranquillity.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the property overall. The presence of multiple lounges and a well-stocked kitchen adds to the comfort level, although one review mentioned a broken settee in the recreation area.

The property is well-equipped with kitchen amenities, outdoor games, and a hot tub. However, some maintenance issues were reported, such as broken sink plugs and a non-closing bathroom door, which detract from the overall score.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category.

A great cottage in a very good location. We really enjoyed our stay at Pant Yr Hwch. All the beds very comfortable and the 3 bedrooms very good. The two lounges were very comfortable with a super big TV. Internet was a bit iffy, but I know this happens in more rural areas. The kitchen and utility rooms were extremely well equipped and the dining area very good, seating 12 of us easily. The garden was great for the children, as was the hot tub for all of us. Our children were a bit young for the games room (aged 3, 4, 4, 6) but the weather was so good that we went to the beach every day and there was a lovely park just a short walk away. Swings, slides etc. Location was very good. Easily walk into Abersoch, a Spar on the way. Abersoch beach wonderful for families although they need to do something about the toilets. Only 1 toilet out of 4 working all week. Easy to reach other beaches by car as well as walks nearby. Would return here. Very good indeed.
