The property boasts an excellent location with easy access to local amenities, pubs, restaurants, and coastal walks. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the provision of towels and pillows. However, some concerns were raised about cleanliness, maintenance issues such as a leaking roof, and the provision of essentials like washing up liquid and soap.
Reviews indicate issues with cleanliness, including rubbish in the yard, dirty bedding, and a microwave that hadn't been cleaned. However, one review mentioned the cottage being clean, suggesting inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to local attractions, pubs, restaurants, and the heritage railway, making it an ideal spot for exploring Porthmadog and the surrounding area.
The property is described as warm and comfortable, particularly for a winter break. However, there are negative comments about a mouldy bathroom and a lack of bath mat, which could affect overall comfort.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and sufficient towels and pillows. However, maintenance issues like a leaking roof and the absence of some basic provisions have been noted.
Some guests noted the provision of a kitchen pack with washing up liquid and wash tabs, which indicates thoughtfulness. However, this was not consistent across reviews, and no gifts were mentioned, so the score reflects the mixed feedback.

Cottage warm and comfortable for our winter break and will look to return in the new year. Backyard desperately needs a update, allthough not to relevent during the winter months, would put the finishing touch needed for thr perfect location in the centre of Port.

We have now returned from our stay and are extremely dissatisfied with the misleading and inaccurate portrayal of the property; Frustrating the property photographs show the log burner but it doesn't provide any wood and is potentially not a real burner at all? This should be made clear. The bathroom is in really poor condition with major mould issues and spurting shower that is leaking . Needs attention and appears not being cleaned properly as mould flying off whenever water from shower hits it. Slippery tiled floor and no bath mat provided is dangerous. Really disappointed with quality of property. General theme of stingy provisions left- small and tired towels, not a single dishwasher tablet, not enough washing up liquid, toilet paper or hand soap for 24 hours. The parking was made impossible to access due to the bushes that hadnât been trimmed. We are still waiting on our refund for the dog that was an error as we didnât have a dog with us. We contacted you about this ahead of our visit. We would also request a partial refund on the booking overall due to the poor state and quality of the property and was not as advertised in pictures or description. I eagerly await your response. Regards, Jamie Trigg

Sarah the caretaker was fantastic and helpful when we had a problem with Smart TV ....user problem not the TV. The only problem we had was we were unable to park outside so used the rear entrance to courtyard, we managed to park inside however the rear gates were falling apart due to age and hard to lock.
