Advertised as quiet but definitely not, it is situated on a very busy road. However we were ok with this. The problem was when we arrived we were told to leave by the cleaners who blocked the parking (we arrived after 4pm, check in is 3pm). They said we could wait at the pub.....with a screaming 2 year old who desperately needed food and a nappy change. Great start. They were over an hour and the cottage wasn't even clean after that. Bins over flowing with previous residents rubbish, grass so long couldn't get on it. Hairs in bath. Dirty floors. Awful. Spoke to Sykes who generally couldn't have cared less. Not best impressed.

Shame about the building work next door and the poor outlook. Lawn not maintained. Would have appreciated a cafetière. Towels a bit small.Decor fine. Unlikely to rebook or recommend this property.

Cottage was lovely and clean, bed was comfortable and everything you need in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.
