The property is well-equipped and ideal for dog owners, with many mentioning enjoyable woodland walks and stunning views. A few guests noted issues with the oven and furniture, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

The cottage is consistently described as very clean, with fresh bed linen and a well-maintained interior. One review mentioned dust and cobwebs, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overwhelming positivity regarding cleanliness.

The location is repeatedly celebrated for its beauty and tranquillity, with easy access to woodland walks and scenic views. Its proximity to interesting places and walks contributes to its high rating.

Many guests find the cottage comfortable, noting the cosy log burner, comfortable bed, and warm atmosphere. However, there are a few remarks about worn-out furniture, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and generous welcome hamper. Some guests experienced confusion with the oven and suggested improvements, indicating room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtfulness of the hosts, highlighted by the welcome hamper and attention to detail. While gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

A beautiful cosy cottage. I spent Christmas at the cottage and couldn't have been more perfect. Very high standard in a wonderful rural location with wooded walks right on the doorstep. This was my first solo time away - the owners were very kind and checked in on me during my time there. Highly recommend

We spent a wonderful relaxing week in this peaceful and very beautiful part of Monmouthshire. The owners were delightful and generous, plenty of wood for the fire which we lit one or two evenings as it started to turn a little chilly...advice on places to visit, and generally kind and relaxed, there to help but never intrusive. Betty the dog was a delight!! The cottage is well appointed, we had everything we needed, lovely hamper awaited us, a great shower, wonderful comfortable bed. At night all you hear are noises of the natural world, no traffic, just blissful...slept soundly. We are our little dog had a great week. The area is outstanding for walkers and bike trails through the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended.
