Mill Barn Denant is a well-received cottage, praised for its peaceful location, comfort, and cleanliness. Guests enjoyed the spacious bedroom, comfortable bed, and the hot tub, which provided relaxation. The welcome hamper and friendly hosts added to the positive experience. While some noted minor issues with garden security for pets and kitchen equipment, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction and a desire to return.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with particular praise for the bedroom and bathroom. However, a few guests mentioned areas that could benefit from a deeper clean or noted a smell of dogs in the lounge, slightly affecting the overall cleanliness score.
The cottage's location is highly regarded for its tranquility and proximity to beaches and local amenities. Guests appreciated the quiet, rural setting while still being close enough to explore Pembrokeshire's attractions, contributing to a high location score.
Comfort is a standout feature, with numerous guests complimenting the large, comfy bed and the overall cosiness of the cottage. The hot tub was frequently mentioned as a highlight for relaxation. Some concerns about garden security for pets and sofa comfort were noted.
Facilities like the hot tub and well-ventilated property were appreciated, but some guests felt the kitchen was under-equipped and the fridge too small. Issues with hot tub maintenance and garden security for dogs were also mentioned, leading to a good but not excellent score.
Guests were touched by the welcome hamper and the owners' friendly demeanour. While these gestures were well-received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.
Originally the miller's barn, this holiday cottage is a perfect combination of modern comfort and traditional qualities. A decked area with a Hot Tub, overlooks the mill brook and is the perfect place to start or end the day.
The barn is set down a quiet country lane yet is just a mile and a half from Haverfordwest, the county town of Pembrokeshire.
The nearby beaches of Newgale, Broad Haven and Little Haven, Marloes and Dale are within easy reach, as are the towns of Pembroke and Milford Haven and Britain’s smallest city, St David’s.
Also just a short journey away and well worth a day trip, are the bird islands of Skomer and Skokholm, where puffins and shearwaters can be seen in the breeding season.
Haverfordwest (Welsh spelling: Hwlffordd) is the county town of Pembrokeshire with quaint little gift shops, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and a vibrant night life. Haverfordwest sits at the mouth of the River Cleddau and with its castle, museum and large leisure complex it is a great day out for all the family. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons from this perfect holiday base to explore castles, relax on beautiful sandy beaches, take walks along parts of the complete coastal footpath, and enjoy Folly Farm, the nearby trampoline park, the Dinosaur Experience and the thrills and spills of Oakwood Theme Park and Bluestone Water Park. There is so much to see and do in this wonderful part of Wales you'll want to revisit again and again.

Lovely and peaceful yet only 5 minutes from town. Hot tub a real bonus and the enclosed garden for the dogs. Met the owners who were very friendly. Will definitely stay again and recommend to our friends and family.

Beautifully appointed & comfortable - especially the bed! The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog & the hot tub was sited in a hidden spot & was a real treat. The owners were very welcoming & helpful. We would definitely return & would highly recommend

Beautifully located in a stunning setting. Perfect place to visit lots of places, plenty of coastal walks and beaches to visit all within 20/30 minutes drive. Cottage was spotless. We come as a family of four and our cockerpoo and we had the best time and all absolutely loved out stay. The owners were very friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely be returning in the future
