Guests say

Park Hall Cottage is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its peaceful and private location, spacious and comfortable rooms, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the quiet setting, the proximity to beautiful beaches, and the enclosed garden safe for children. The views and wildlife add to the charm of the cottage, making it a favoured choice for a tranquil getaway.

The cottage is generally described as clean and tidy, with several reviews noting its spotless condition upon arrival. However, a few guests mentioned minor issues such as a musty smell in a bedroom and stains on a carpet, which slightly affected the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, privacy, and beautiful views. It is noted as being ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire and its beaches. Some guests found the property a bit challenging to locate initially, but this did not detract significantly from their overall experience.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with ample space, cosy furnishings, and a warm atmosphere. The presence of a stair lift is appreciated, although some guests suggested improvements such as blackout blinds and better-suited furniture for the elderly.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen equipment and the enclosed garden. However, some guests mentioned the lack of certain items, such as a hairdryer and additional kitchen tools, and there were comments about maintenance issues like a loose toilet and a leaky shower.

While some guests mentioned the absence of a welcome pack and suggested that small gestures like providing milk and tea bags would be appreciated, there is not enough consistent information across the reviews to accurately score the thoughtfulness category. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The owner is very useful should you need to contact him and lives down the lane so isn’t too far if he needs to come over. In the booking details it states there was a stair gate available, however, upon arrival there was no stair gate and when we contacted the owner he said that the stairs were too wide for a stair gate and he’d left a fire guard on the landing instead of a stair gate. This was actually more unsafe than not having a stair gate so if you have little ones on the move this isn’t the most child friendly house with a glass topper on the coffee table, fireplace and no stair gate. We need really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a fantastic location, no too far from the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire.

The cottage was very roomy and had 2 double and 1 single bedroom , and would be ideal for a family and even for a disabled person because there is a staircase.
