The Old Granary receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches from hosts Heather and Bill. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the secure paddock for dogs, and the property's peaceful rural setting. The welcoming gestures, such as fresh flowers and a bottle of wine, add to the charm, though these kind gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
Reviewers consistently mention the cleanliness of The Old Granary, describing it as immaculate and well-maintained, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is celebrated for its quiet countryside charm and accessibility to local attractions. While it may be slightly remote for some, the majority of guests find it ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy. A few guests mention the beds being a bit hard and the sofa low, but these are isolated comments compared to the overall positive feedback.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being well-equipped and spacious. The paddock for dogs is a highlight, though some minor maintenance issues like creaky floorboards and garden furniture are noted.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently acknowledged through mentions of welcome packs and personal touches. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are offered at the hosts' discretion and may not be a standard inclusion for all stays.

The location is extremely quiet at night and the paddock was perfect for exercising our 2 dogs. Haverfordwest - about 20 mins away - has all the main shops and supermarkets and the general location of the property was ideal for touring the county, which has to be one of the best in the UK. One recommendation would be to provide the location using What3words which is becoming more and more popular and is extremely accurate.
John
Especially the paddock nearby where we could leave him off his lead and do some training. Heather is the perfect host making sure we had everything we needed. The extra little touches like a packet of biscuits, bottle of wine and milk in the fridge and torches for taking the dog out ment a lot to us.

Everything you could need and amazing views. Highly recommended. Thank you Heather and Bill.
