Very quiet, property clean and tidy, hot tub amazing able to totally sit back relax do nothing and read my book! Just what we needed peace, quiet and relaxation! If your looking to be close to the action this is not the property for you but if your happy to chill, drive to anything you need then this is the place! Owner recommended the local pub “The Pump on the Green” at Spittal 5mins by car and it did not disappoint- lovely home cooked food and definitely NOT a chain pub!

The accommodation was clean and well appointed with lots of kitchen utensils. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice view through the window. The property was made by the hot tub which we used every day even when it was raining. We didn't get to walk locally as the weather wasn't brilliant so we didn't get to see the lakes. The road would not be safe to walk. There is a pub about 3 miles away called the pump on the green. Went there twice during the week after we found it by accident. Would highly recommend a visit, very nice food and friendly staff. My wife being coeliac was impressed by the choice of gluten free options on the menu. Overall we were looking for a quiet break and that was what we got. The owner is very pleasant and was available if needed. If you like horses there are stables close by.
