Curlew Cottage is highly praised for its idyllic setting and beautiful views over the estuary, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Guests appreciate the modern and well-equipped property, with its clean and comfortable rooms, and the convenience of its location for exploring Pembrokeshire. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is one of enjoyment and satisfaction.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as spotless or very clean. However, a few guests mentioned minor cleaning issues and standards not fully meeting their expectations, particularly during the heightened awareness of Covid-19.
The location is consistently lauded for its stunning views, proximity to local amenities, and as a great base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. The tranquil setting by the estuary is a highlight for many guests.
Most guests find the property comfortable, with modern furnishings and ample bathrooms. Some guests, however, mention that certain furniture and beds could be more comfortable, slightly impacting the overall comfort score.
The cottage is well-equipped, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with the Wi-Fi, showers, and kitchen utensils. While these are generally seen as minor, they do affect the overall experience.
While guests express gratitude for the welcome pack and the provision of essentials like milk, there is insufficient information to determine a consistent level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or extra touches. Therefore, this score is set to null, and guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.
One of two semi-detached holiday cottages near Milford Haven, this superb property is next to the tidal estuary, and has shared lockable storage for cycles and kayaks underneath. There are three delightful bedrooms, two of which have Juliet balconies giving wonderful views over the estuary. The spacious, light and airy living accommodation has the same wonderful views, and access to the terrace for alfresco dining. We were lucky with the weather and saw a lot of birds, inc. buzzards, from the terrace. The only things that would improve the stay are a few more cleaning products, and a torch (there were two power cuts during our stay, one in the evening when it was very dark).

Great parking spaces. Within a short car ride to Lidl and a garage, as well as the Horse and Jockey Pub, where we had a delicous meal. Can highly recommend. We all had a great week in this lovely house. Ann M

The property stood on the side of the estuary with beautiful views. We spent many hours on the patio looking at all the birds that were on view, heron, curlew, swans, ducks and much more. The cottage was very comfortable with all that you required to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Would definitely recommend any family e friend's to visit.
