Guests appreciate the property's character, homely feel, and the thoughtful touches provided by the welcoming hosts. Its location is ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire, with easy access to beaches and local attractions. The cottage's rustic decor and communal areas with livestock add to the charm. Some guests noted steep stairs to the mezzanine, but overall, the property offers a delightful stay.

Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, one review mentioned that the property was not as clean as expected during their visit, which slightly impacts the overall score.

The cottage is ideally situated for getting around Pembrokeshire, with guests enjoying the proximity to various attractions and dog-friendly beaches. The quiet village location is also appreciated.

Guests report the cottage as comfortable and homely, with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy atmosphere. The steep mezzanine stairs were a minor concern for some, particularly for those with mobility issues.

The property is well-equipped, with a special mention of the kitchen facilities. However, one guest noted a lack of glasses and the absence of the host during their stay, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While guests have mentioned the helpfulness and warmth of the host, there is no specific mention of gifts or special extras that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

About this property

Located in the small hamlet of Rosemarket in the Pembrokeshire countryside is this lovely cottage, Bluebell, part of a group of stone barn conversions called Church View Cottages. Showcasing high ceilings, exposed beams, and a wooden staircase this is an authentic property, ideal for a small family or couples. The ground floor is home to the open-plan living space beginning with the sitting area that has two leather sofas and a TV so you can unwind after a long day of walking. To complete the ground floor there is a double room as well as a shower room, before heading up the steep open tread staircase to the mezzanine first floor where you can find the twin beds. To the outside you can let the kids play in the shared garden with play area and on a sunny day make use of the shared barbecue to cook up some burgers. Neyland is a town in the county of Pembrokeshire, lying on the River Cleddau and the upstream of the Milford Haven estuary. Its initial beginnings revolved around the fishing industry before larger ports took over, with the town then growing around the railway, which has now become The Brunel Cycleway, continuing all the way over to Haverfordwest. Over in the Neyland marina, home to Neyland Yacht Club, you can find a bar, restaurant and chandlery, with several pubs and a small shop further in.

Everything was there that you might possibly need. Furnishing were a bit dated but, other than that we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. So much so we’ve booked to go back in September, this time however, we’re going to stay in the lodge.
