Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen. The warm welcome, often with homemade treats, and the presence of friendly farm animals add to the charm. Its peaceful rural setting offers beautiful views and a quiet retreat, yet it remains conveniently close to local amenities and attractions. The enclosed garden is appreciated by pet owners, and the property's suitability as a base for exploring Mid Wales is highlighted.

Reviews frequently commend the cottage's cleanliness, with guests describing it as immaculate and spotless. There is a single mention of minor cleanliness issues in the bathroom, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall high praise.

The location is celebrated for its quiet, rural charm and scenic views, with easy access to local villages and attractions. Some guests appreciated the peacefulness for bird watching and stargazing. However, one review suggested better signage for finding the property.

Comfort is a standout feature, with guests finding the cottage warm and welcoming. The presence of a ground floor bedroom with ensuite is noted for accessibility, and the beds and furnishings are frequently described as comfortable.

The cottage is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and guests are pleased with the facilities provided. However, a few guests mentioned the lack of a freezer or freezer compartment and a washing machine, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the warm welcomes, often with homemade scones, bread, and cake. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

When taking our 2 Autistic Sons on holiday we need a base that has all the comforts of home & this place definitely ticked all the boxes. Especially having the Tv & Wi-fi. On arrival we greeted by the 2 Farm Dogs which was just lovely and upon entering the cottage we were pleasantly surprised to find some Welsh cakes and a bottle of Organic Milk waiting for us. Absolutely fantastic. 10 out 10 and we will definitely be coming back next year.
