This lovely shepherd’s hut enjoys a peaceful rural setting with fabulous walks around the Welsh countryside of Llangadfan from the doorstep. With stunningly beautiful views of Foel and Llangadfan, it provides the ideal retreat within easy reach of local attractions such as Lake Vyrnwy (Llyn Efyrnwy) and Llanfair Caereinion Steam Railway (10 miles). Set on a working farm, surrounded by acres of grazing land and boasting far-reaching views, it's the perfect location for exploring by foot or by bike, with miles of country lanes and footpaths to explore. You can access Glyndwr Way, less than a mile from the property. It’s a great all-year-round destination with plenty of attractions to visit, including Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, one of the seven wonders of Wales, or Powis Castle. If you fancy a hike, Cadair Idris is 23 miles and Aran Fawddwy, Dinas Mawddwy 14 miles. And to quench your thirst after a day of exploring, there are plenty of pubs and eateries within the area.

A perfect escape in a warm cosy hut away from the hectic town/city life. A comfy bed. Cleanliness was spot on. Topped off with a night-time hot tub with bubbles. A very friendly welcome by Meinir and Huw. Everyone should experience the Canada Hut.

A lovely little place to stay in a wonderful location. Ideal for people looking to get away from their busy lives and slow down for a few days. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the locals are equally welcoming. The hut offers great views into nearby locations and is a walkable distance from the closest shop, café and pub - if that's what you want. You can tell a lot of care went into creating this opportunity for others to get-away. I will certainly be returning in the future.

We absolutely adored our weekend away at Cwt Eithin! The cabin was beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The views were stunning, and we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub under the stars! The hosts were really lovely, and the welcome basket a lovely treat for us on arrival!
