It is down the side and much smaller. It is not as portrayed, so very misleading. The property is very tired in its decoration and old fashioned furnishings and is generally quite dark inside. Our issues were general cleanliness, donât look under cupboards and we had to get fresh bedding for one of beds. A leaking waste pipe in outside area which poses a major health risk as it leaks into matting out there where kids were playing. An open ended pipe outside which our 4 year old kept trying to play with, the owner rectified this with gaffer tape. Bedroom door jamming, shower doors unstable, small fridge and numerous other problems. We could not take advantage of the garden area due to having very young children in our party and it is right next to road so we had to use the outside space at the side where we could lock the door. This area was filthy and the leaking waste pipe is hazardous. The only positives are location and endless hot water. We paid £1200 for a week here and it was a special holiday for our daughter and grandchildren. I feel very let down as it is not even worth half that amount. I wrote to Sykes with our complaint and I was issued a reference number, but since then I have heard nothing. I wanted to give them time to respond before posting feedback, but as I have heard nothing, I assume they just donât care. Itâs the first time I have used Sykes so not a great impression.

Yolanda went out of her way to ensure we had all we needed and was on hand for any questions/queries we had about the property and local area.

The host was such a lovely person and so accommodating. Lots of this to do nearby. Will definitely be visiting again.
