    • The Lambourne Family - Verified booking

I chose this cottage after contacting Emma at Hideaways. she suggested several properties that could possibly meet my requirements. We chose the old Joinery- mainly because of location (central Cley) but also we needed to accommodate our small Motorhome (23ft length) and an additional car, this it did without any problem and we could turn it on the drive. The neighbour (Maureen?) was delightfull and parked her car thoughtfuly. It is a short walk back into Cley- Would recommed the cottage to anyone that really wants a lovely cottage in a very quiet location. Well equipped, Special Thankyou to Emma-she really knows her propery portfolio.

A super little house which we stayed in previously about 5 years ago. It’s had a refurb since then which has been very nicely done. We like it because it’s really tucked away, not on a road or loke so it’s very quiet but just 2 minutes from the high street. We particularly appreciated how warm it was as it was November. We’ve stayed in houses before which we’re always on the chilly side or downright cold in one instance but this was great. Lovely meals in the Dunn Cow, (Salthouse) and Wiveton Bell.

We had an excellent week in this very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Having stayed in lots of cottages over the years, this was amongst the very best. We struggled a bit with the induction hob but that was probably because we are used to a gas hob at home! The kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for other than a cheese grater which, if there, we couldn't find. The cottage is in a quiet location with easy parking and close to village amenities. We hope and expect to visit again.
