What our customers say about their holidays

    • The Fry's - Verified booking

We all enjoyed our stay here. The living room is especially comfortable with a large balcony and a stunning view. Parking for one car, the drive is shared with the bungalow next door but I never found it a problem in getting my car on and off the drive. We had a problem with the washing machine as it was leaking all over the floor, I called the holiday company and within 15 minutes the Plummer had arrived followed by the house keeper, Evie a few minutes later. It was her day off but she sorted out new towels for us as we had used the guest towels on the floor and took home our washing to do. Thank you Evie! Overall the house is lovely, it is nice and warm and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going.

Great property and great location. Second time here. Very comfortable and well equipped. Biggest TV we have ever seen! Wonderful roof terrace with nice views. Great location, 1 minute walk to the harbour and town. Generally very quiet at night. Our car could not get into the allocated space if the next door space was being used. Medium size/small cars should be OK. On-road parking was virtually impossible, may be easier at off -peak holiday times. But there is an open air public car park 1 minute walk away which we used. Would definitely come here again.

We had a great week at Quayside Lookout, which was our first return following a stay in 2016. The position and the accommodation were perfect for us. Some people might not like to be right over a working quayside especially as working hours are dependent on the tides, but it was nice watching the boats coming in and out and with the bedroom at the back disturbance was kept to an absolute minimum. Will definitely return again.

We have stayed in Wells many times over the years and was delighted to find this accommodation. It is perfect for a couple, close to restaurants and the quay/ shops. Having a parking space was an extra bonus. You only have a microwave and toaster as cooking equipment but we only had breakfast in the room and was happy to eat out. There is a fridge and plenty of crockery/utensils so we had all we needed for our stay.
