The apartment is in a excellent location on beach road, close to all the amenities.
There is off road parking for one car. The beach is a short walk downhill. As you enter the hall hand saniterser has been provided. The apartment is lovely, really well equipped clean and tidy. A real home from home . The living room has gorgeous views of Woolacombe bay and the sea. An ideal place to watch the sun go down. There is good Wi-Fi, lots of dvd's ,cd's books and a selection of games to use. The bedrooms are spacious with super comfy beds. The main bedroom has a king size bed. There is plenty of storage space for your things / clothes and plenty of coat hangers. Also wall fans for the warmer nights. The bathroom is good with an over bath shower that is very powerful. Plenty of cleaning products to use too. Bath towels are provided. The kitchen is superbly equipped! ( never seen one as Good! ) with good quality items .There's a dishwasher so no washing up yay! A washing machine too. A hand towel , tea towels, dish cloth are provided and washing up liquid too. The shops, bars , pubs and takeaways are right on your doorstep with plenty to choose from. The vast stretch of beach is fantastic. Lovely and clean .Ideal for family ,friends or couples alike. There are a few surfboard ,bodyboard wetsuit hire shops near the beach. All in all you couldn't wish for a nicer base for your Devon holiday.

We are so sad to see our week stay at Ocean View come to an end. After 15 months living through a pandemic whilst both having busy work schedules in London, we decided it was time to face facts that the chance of a Caribbean break coming any time soon was not looking promising! We came across this beautiful property online, but when we arrived we quickly realised that the photos we had seen did not even touch the surface of how beautiful this place really is! The apartment is stunning and really is a home from home with such beautiful surroundings! We couldn’t have hoped for anything more from our break away and appreciated every little detail that had been so carefully thought out. So much so, most days we struggled to want to get out of the house and found ourselves snuggled up, becoming a part of the sofa and binge-watching Friends on Netflix. We would love to return to Ocean View in the near future and will definitely be recommending our new ‘happy place!’

It's perfectly located for a family beach holiday or exploring North Devon. The apartment was exceptionally clean (which always makes me so happy and sets the right mood for the rest of the holiday from the start), we loved the décor and the paintings and the wide window sill in the sitting equipped for looking out at the sea - it is a huge bonus, especially if the weather is not kind. The kitchen was very modern and perfectly equipped with all you need to cook - just like at home if not better. The notice board in the kitchen with all the information about best places to eat and other handy tips about local shops and places was very useful, as well as a special book for guests to leave their notes on good local eateries. The apartment has lots of DVDs, CDs and games in case it's rainy and maps and books/brochures with information to explore the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment to even the pickiest of my friends. A huge thanks!

The flat is great as a base and has everything you need.
The kitchen is well-equipped, although it took a while to figure out how to work the oven, but we got there in the end! If anyone is reading this and wants to know how to switch the oven on, you need to select the hand symbol on the timer. Thereâs a dishwasher and an under-counter fridge. The small dining area is comfortable, and the living space has a large sofa and a modern TV. Both bedrooms have super comfortable beds, wardrobes, and dressing areas. Everything was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The flat is up two flights of stairs, but theyâre not too steep. The laundry room is outside and shared with other guests. It would be helpful to have a small stick vacuum or long-handled brush available, as the Henry vacuum provided is quite heavy and needs to be carried up the stairs. Check-in and check-out times could be a little earlier and later, respectively.

Weâve had a lovely holiday staying at Glenwood in Woolacombe.
Excellent communication between ourselves and the owners, prompt replies to questions and very helpful. Itâs got everything you need and is very tastefully thought out with all the little extras included for a great self catering apartment. Spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings, quality furniture., Thereâs even deckchairs, windbreak, body boards, toys for the beach and wellingtons and walking sticks. Special touches such as toiletries, cleaning products and suncream . The only negative is that itâs on a road going down into the centre so itâs an uphill walk back up. Plus its a second floor flat so thereâs quite a few stairs. So it may be a problem for those with mobility issues or pushchairs as thereâs no lift.
