Almost as soon as we arrived we were contemplating a second week which we duly booked.
Itâs a really spacious apartment with loads of light, multiple seating areas indoor and out, views all around the countryside and beautifully quiet. Itâs only a 20 minute walk to the village of Kibworth Beaumont with supermarket, local butcher and a variety of restaurants, pubs and takeaways. The place is surrounded by lovely historic villages, towns, canals, walks, places of interest and things to do. The décor and furnishings are comfortable with a great bed, good towels and enough cooking equipment to make a Sunday roast with all the trimmings should you want to. The owner is nearby, super helpful and left a fabulous welcome pack for us. There are also leaflets with local info and maps. The apartment is above a garage so thereâs no adjoining neighbours and loads of privacy. Although there were issues with the host wi-fi (which we knew about pre-arrival), the cottage is not in a black spot and we had good Wi-Fi and phone service using our own provider. Highly recommended

It's spotless, homely and shops are easily accessible and within driving distance. Our host was friendly and very accommodating and provided everything necessary to make our stay comfortable. We were delighted with this property, the views were of peaceful countryside, so relaxing to sit with the French doors open sipping tea, enjoying the sounds of birds.
The loft was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Our hostess was welcoming and friendly. We found lots to see and do in the area, the space centre, the industrial museum, Foxton locks, the King Richard centre, the cathedral, Bradgate park is lovely, and we enjoyed the botanic gardens.
