This is a lovely apartment in a prime location overlooking Haworth Main Street and during shop opening hours we were able to exit and enter through the shop which is run by a very friendly lady.
The owner, Michael, was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay from first phone call to the last day. The little welcome pack was much appreciated, particularly the bottle of wine. The apartment is accessed from the rear of the property where there is a small parking area, although the small road leading to it is very rough, part cobbles part unmade. The outer door is reached by a flight of around 20 steps and once inside the entryway, which is shared with the shop, there is a further flight of stairs to reach the apartment. This comprises of a large first floor open plan living area and small bathroom with a shower. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, combi microwave/oven, two ring portable electric hob, toaster and kettle. We managed to cook up some nice one pot meals, providing we were not too ambitious. There was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils and the owner was happy to supply us with anything we found lacking. There is also a dining table in the kitchen area. The living area was spacious and airy with a breakfast table by the large window where you can look down at Haworth Main Street whilst planning your day. The room is tastefully furnished but to our mind a couple of comfy armchairs would have been nice. The ROKU TV is a nice touch since we could log in and then use our own tv apps. We also liked that we could connect our phones to the Bluetooth radio. The apartment was lovely and warm for the most part but a curtain at the top of the stairs to stop draughts and keep the heat in would have been appreciated on cooler evenings. The two bedrooms are in the converted loft and are accessed by quite a steep stairway leading to the smaller twin bedroom, more of a landing with beds, through which you reach the main bedroom. Also worth noting is that should you need to go down to the bathroom through the night the light for the stairs also lights up the twin bedroom. All the beds were comfortable and the bedding was of a good quality. Indeed, I had the best first nightâs sleep ever in a strange bed. The only issues we had was the lack of storage for clothes in the twin room so we had to share the hanging rail in the main room and the full length mirror in the main bedroom kept tripping me up. A handy hook is provided to close the blinds on the loft windows. We enjoyed our stay at Main Street View and would certainly return when staying in the area. We would both recommend it to friends but with the bedroom layout probably not to people to whom privacy is important such as couples sharing or parents and grown up children.

Nice place, friendly people, good food and beer.
If you want to visit the Bronte Museum you couldn't get a closer accommodation. The apartment was nice and l would agree with what most people have said about it. Clean comfortable and well resourced. As the accommodation is self catering it would have been nice to have had a free cupboard to put food in as all the cupboards were full of various bits of kitchen equipment. The integrated fridge unfortunately had a broken freezer drawer when we were there so couldn't really use it, it wasn't a major problem for us and I'm sure they were going to have it fixed soon. It rained alot when we were there so the steps to get in to the apartment at the back got very slippery. Not a big problem just needed be a bit careful. People have said about the noise. We found when people rented the accommodation above we could hear them moving around and as we had the bedroom window open we could hear the people out side the pub next door when they were going home but this was only one night and only for a few minutes. The church bells ring every quarter for an hour which was nice but they're quite close so if you're a light sleeper this might be something to consider. However they only rang on Saturday Sunday and Monday when we were there I think they broke down. Personally we would have liked to have seen pictures of the bathroom before booking because the toilet area is really quite small, the shower and basin are fine but the loo is in a very tight spot! That said we would rent the accommodation again as I think the accommodation is well worth the money.

We arrived at the cottage and were welcomed by the friendly owner, Rachel, who had baked us some delicious ginger biscuits.
The cottage was very spacious for two people and had the bonus of a utility room (where you enter the property through) which is great to store your muddy boots and gear. The bathroom has the bonus of a bath and shower, and the bedroom has enough storage to unpack your cases fully. The lounge and kitchen are open plan- again plenty big enough, although we would have liked more kitchen utensils (pots and pans) to cook with. For those wanting access to WiFi please be aware that the signal in this area is poor and we could not access the Internet most of the time. The location of the cottage is perfect for those wish to explore the surrounding countryside or who need an easy commute to Warley, Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall or Halifax town. It may be worth noting that the drive to the cottage involves a few steep hairpin lanes which are not for the inexperienced driver. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cottage. Rachel was very welcoming and always available to answer any questions. There is also parking at the property.

Welcomed by Michael the owner.
Showed around the apartment. Lovely welcome hamper with bread etc and Prosecco. Lovely welcome treat. Apartment had everything you needed and we were able to cook and feel comfortable throughout our five night stay. Beautiful spot right in the centre of Howarth. Nice to step outside and be within heart of the community. Safe Parking is free behind the Betty Moores shop. Lovely pubs and gift shops. Did a wonderful walk to the Brontë waterfalls and then to the Fleece inn for a Sunday Yorkshire pudding lunch. Nice food and welcoming staff . The small bakery was very welcoming and did tasty cakes. We did visit Hebdon bridge on a Sunday for the market which was very pretty. Lots going on with Morris dancers in the square. We did venture further afield to Leeds and York and visited their markets. The shambles in York was really interesting and full of small shops. All in all lovely accommodation in a perfect spot.

We had the honour of being the first guest to rent this property and the owners could not have been more hospitable.
After a long journey we greatly appreciated the welcome fresh loaf of bread, milk and a few other treats after a long journey, and the owners did ring us a few times during our stay to check if any issues as the property had only just been renovated. The location was ideal for visiting the Bronte Parsonage (the main reason for our visit) so the whole village was on our doorstep and good to have a parking space off the main street, but also walking distance from the station. I think this is a great place to stay for a couple or family (up to 4) with older children (the steps to the bedroom are a bit steep, so I wouldn't recommend for very young children). Kitchen had an air fryer and a hot plate (no stove, but this wasn't a problem for us, and lots of eateries within walking distance too), This was a last minute break, and so glad I booked it- I'd definitely return as such a beautiful area to explore.
