The Woodbridge Penthouse is a spacious and attractive third floor apartment with lovely views of the River Deben and the town.
We particularly enjoyed watching the trains as well; though the excellent windows and balcony doors meant it was not noisy. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms immaculate with fluffy towels and plentiful hot water. Our favourite was the open plan lounge with table and chairs (with views), the comfy sofas and the high end kitchen. The underfloor heating kept it cosy. We enjoyed everything on our doorstep, including the walk along the river path looking at the stunning river views, the historic Tide Mill, the nearby restaurants (The Woodyard Pizza and The Boathouse Kitchen and Bar), and how picturesque the area is. The town is worth a visit too with its eclectic range of shops and cafes, etc. We didn't want to leave the warmth and comfort of it the apartment. And hope to return in the springtime. The only suggestion we would make is perhaps the addition of smaller mugs or cups and saucers. And though a microwave is referred to in the Welcome Pack, there isn't one. We highly recommend staying at this super apartment! Thank you.

Having dodged the snow across the country, we turned up to the apartment, parked the car securely and walked in to a warm and beautifully presented Penthouse.
No need to unpack straight away as refreshments were to hand. Tea, coffee, juice, milk or if you preferred wine. The apartment is spacious with wonderful views, a kitchen that is easy to work in with everything to hand. Make use of the local fresh produce and sit and enjoy your food at the table watching the world and wildlife go by. We found the hallway a blessing, due to weather. You can take off wet clothing and leave it out of sight and hanging up to dry away from your private space. Bedroom and bathroom both spacious and comfortable. There is plenty to keep you busy all day. We found our hosts, neighbours and locals very friendly. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. We didnât achieve everything we had planned so we will definitely be returning in the future. We hope that when we do the Penthouse will be available.

5 star luxury accommodation in a great location with a fabulous view.
Beautifully maintained, well equipped and comfortably furnishedâ¦â¦â¦.with thoughtful extras such fresh flowers, chocolates, bottle of fizz and milk in the fridge adding a touch of romance and practicality. It is easy to imagine that this sunny south-facing apartment can be everything from a warm and cosy retreat in winter to a bright and airy, summer base. Sitting in the comfy Fama chair in front of the open French windows, there is an air of peace and tranquility as you watch the ebb and flow of the river and the comings and goings of people below. And certainly no shortage of things to do and interesting places to explore in Woodbridge and its environs. Wonderful long weekend here â¦â¦ hope to come again sometime.

This property is absolutely stunning!
From the property we enjoyed the many fabulous views of Woodbridge, including the beautiful river and the bustling street leading up to the shops. The property is of an exceptionally high standard and everything impressed. The beds were incredibly comfortable leading to a lovely nights sleep. A fantastic location for exploring the river and enjoying the restaurants. The stone baked pizza restaurant is an absolute must. I also really recommend WOK IT for a delicious Chinese take away, only a 5 minute stroll from the property! I would definitely like to return to Woodbridge Penthouse next summer. Highly recommend!!!

This is the perfect home from home.
We stayed for 5 months, and had everything we needed. The beds are wonderful and the linens are of highest quality. Itâs spacious with outstanding views across Woodbridge. Donât worry about the trains. They go by so slowly and we became avid train spotters! There is so much to do in the area and so many cafes and restaurants. The Sutton boat reconstruction is very interesting, as is the museum, the Tide Mill and Sutton Hoo. The owner of the flat does everything to ensure your stay is memorable. We would recommend this apartment very highly, but youâll want to stay longer than a week!
