What our customers say about their holidays

    • Sarah - Verified booking

We can highly recommend Flat 1 Marina Court, Portreath.

The flat is in good decorative order, well maintained and spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need plus more. There was even a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge to welcome us plus ice made up ready in the freezer which we thought was a lovely touch. There was a welcome note with suggestions of things to do and clear instructions for rubbish/recycling etc and how to leave the flat at the end of our stay. Easy to use appliances, great shower and comfortable furniture. Great to have parking right outside too. Conveniently situated to either pop down into Portreath by car or on foot, or to jump in the car to go off exploring elsewhere. We also enjoyed walking some of the mining trail that starts a few yards from the door. We would definitely rebook if we visit Portreath again.

The holiday home did meet our requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Seahouse. The house itself had everything we needed and more and had been really well thought out. The beds were super comfy and we loved the tasteful decor of the house and the garden. The attention to detail from the owners was superb. We do have one small suggestion, maybe a pint of milk in the fridge and a few teabags on arrival would be a nice? Just a thought. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. It's good to know that the standard of property will be high and at competitive prices. We go to Cornwall every year, and will without a doubt be our first port of call when looking for our next holiday. All in all a great experience.Thank you all so much for a lovely holiday.

SeaEsta is lovely. Well appointed with nice personal touches. There is a small rear garden for pet needs. There is a great ground floor garage facility that will take two medium sized cars. My large SUV just fitted in. The first floor open plan living space is great for a family. Balconies on all floors look out to the beach and sea. The two front bedrooms also have full length bifold doors that give you a view of the sea from your bed if you so desire. There is a wide range of walks from the door from a mile or two to six or eight miles. With at least two great pubs and restaurants too there is no real need to manoeuvre the car out of that garage all week if you don’t want to. Could not recommend it more strongly.

We've had a lovely stay at The Seahouse and I think that you might be seeing us back here soon! We have loved our fabulous holiday! We have loved days lounging on the sand on Portreath beach and the Kelly's ice cream was yummy!! We have also been body boarding a lot in the sea with our new surf boards. The Eden project was great! St Ives was very good and we ate at The Porthminster Kitchen, which was lovely food. Porthleven was nice for walks and the pier was amazing. Hayle was good for crabbing. SO much that a massive crab broke our net, ate tons of bacon and even climbed out of our crab bucket. Thanks!

We stayed for 2 weeks in The Seahouse, Portreath in June 2021 and had a fantastic holiday! The accommodation surpassed our expectations due to the tasteful decor and the fact that it was so well-equipped with lots of thoughtful touches such as wetsuits, bodyboards and beach equipment being left for us in the shed, an outside tap to wash out wetsuits, hooks on all the doors and lots of coat hangers. Useful under-stairs storage and an airing cupboard upstairs, to ensure the house didn't get cluttered during our stay. Would highly recommend both The Seahouse and Portreath as a holiday destination.
