What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Golding - Verified booking

A delightful cottage, set in a wonderful village location, tastefully furnished, warm and clean.Hostess very helpful and friendly providing local information. A quintessential English Village - a Pub, Church and large village green with an Oak Tree and interesting historical houses in the Village. The Apple Harvest was in "full swing" during our holiday - the Garden of England indeed. A ideal setting for a "Miss Marple" or "Midsomer Murders" drama without the Danger!!! Super break couldn't have been better.

We found the Pump House at Hern Hill to be ideally located with plenty of space to park. The kitchen/diner was well stocked and had all the equipment needed. The King size bed was comfortable. Having a tv in the bedroom as well as the lounge was a bonus especially as Netflix was available with programmes we wanted to see. The clealiness is first class. The Rose and Crown is just minutes from the property so is ideal for eating and drinking. The owners are also very helpful.

This was booked for us to attend a family wedding in the village . It was amazing we have stayed in many properties over the years and I can honestly say it’s the most remarkable ,to date and we will be back. It’s reasonable and many lovely touches including milk tea sugar and a small food hamper to start the holiday off. The standard of furnishing are very high class and so very clean . True value for money

Great location very close to local pub! Short drive to Whistable, Faversham and Canterbury. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and comfy. Excellent shower. Plenty of storage. Also very warm during a very cold spell. The owner who lives nearby was helpful and very accommodating.

A beautiful place to stay: well- and thoughtfully-equipped, spacious yet cosy, spotless, and with a very helpful owner. In a quiet rural location but within easy reach of the coast and many other interesting places to visit. Good local pub. A great, relaxing last-minute getaway
