What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Copping - Verified booking

This cottage was a great find. We do a lot of self catering and have high standards and have to say Quince Cottage is one of the best. Very well equipped, fantastic standard of cleanliness, great decor and very comfortable beds. A really quiet stay. We loved the balconies and decking area all of which we used frequently. We loved the fact that we could walk down the footpath and be in the High Street in a few minutes…and turning right at the bottom of the footpath be in Sainsbury’s in a few quick minutes. We walked along the canal both ways and enjoyed walking along the Sea front. We didn’t use the car once! A great stay . Thank you to our great host Helen.

This is a beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable with all amenities to hand. The view from the verandah (and windows) is wonderful. After staying at a few cottages and the various settees always being past their best, one particular bonus was the three piece suite at Quince Tree cottage which is in excellent condition and very comfortable to sit on after being out sightseeing all day. Its also in a great location for walking into Hythe itself which has a variety of pubs and restaurants. The owner is a lovely host, very helpful and her lemon drizzle cake is delish! We didn't want to leave and would hope to return to Quince Tree cottage.

Our first stay with Kent and Sussex Holidays and the property was excellent. We stayed in Hythe which is a lovely town and we enjoyed walks along the military canal and taking The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway to Dungeness. We also visited many gardens in Kent and went to Sandwich and Walmer Castle. We were welcomed by the owner and found the house comfortable, clean and of luxury standard with a large screen tv and WiFi. We loved the balconies with distant sea views and had a very relaxing holiday.

We enjoyed the stay, good location, we lacked for nothing in the way of cutlery, crockery, etc. The kitchen well fitted and all the user manuals available for equipment supplied. Excellent. Hythe is a beautiful place to visit, lots of individual shops etc. Plenty of places to visit and a really nice unspoilt coastline. Joy to visit the seaside without penny arcades etc. not crowded even at Bank Holiday with good weather. We will go back, and will use the company again. Thankyou

The first few days were sunny and dry, then rain and drizzle, but warm for the time of year. We enjoyed walking along the promenade and canal for hours. We also walked along the lanes, alleyways and minor roads near the house, looking at the architecture. Absolutely delightful house, warm comfortable with everything you could possibly need. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The cake, milk, welcome gifts and other little touches were much appreciated. Thank you.
