    Horncastle Holiday Cottages

At the heart of Lincolnshire sits Horncastle: almost equidistant from the city of Lincoln and the tourist seaside resorts along the coast. Surrounded by countryside, this town is famous for its food, drink and antiques - ideal for holidaymakers. Horncastle holiday cottages are amongst the most popular in the county, as the area offers a quieter alternative to the crowds of nearby beach towns.

Horncastle is home to the world-famous Myers Bakery, renowned for its traditional Lincolnshire plum loaf: a must-try dish for anyone visiting the area. A market runs in the town centre every Thursday and Saturday, full of local businesses and retailers. History fans will be interested to learn more about Horncastle’s heritage through its sections of remaining Roman town walls, the remaining medieval angels at St Mary’s Church and the museum of the Sir Joseph Banks Centre. Hunt for the blue plaques around the town centre, detailing sites of interest.

With thousands of holiday cottages in Horncastle and the rest of the UK, Snaptrip has an unbeatable range of accommodation listed. Our value is unbeatable too: the Snaptrip best price guarantee ensures you won't find the same property cheaper elsewhere.

What our customers say about their holidays

It's not how you described, it's what you did not !

On the pictures it was so decieving,as it showed a shingle driveway, which we thought was somewhere to walk our little dog ,also having to park opposite the house, in a dirt layby on a main road 60 miles an hour, was not practical as I and my partner have mobility issues!very dangerous ,we assumed when you said it had a gas hob it would have an oven ! Never have booked if it was mentioned, also microwave was not the same as pictures, so tiny! You also said road noise but did not mention the fast road right outside, also it is not dog friendly, unless you had a enclosed garden, or patio, we have not been out for 3 years,I have only been out of hospital for 3 weeks due to pneumonia! and it was going to be a quiet time away, but this cottage broke my heart on my birthday!!! We only stayed for less than 30 minutes, and spent all of our money, very much upset and disappointed, in the future describe as it is and do not deceive anyone else, would now call on you to do the right thing and refund us at least some of the cost, will never go with Sykes again ,worst experience ever,it's not what you said it is about what you did not say! about the place! Very upset, jayne

      We enjoyed our stay immensely!

We found the cottage cozy and comfortable. Nice, out-of-town location but within short driving distance to grocery and restaurants. We loved the fenced in area in front of the cottage so we didn't have to worry about our pup running out into the busy street. We had everything we needed and you even thought of little extras to make our stay easier (like the milk and biscuits!) The wood-burning stove was so soothing and everything was just great. Thank you so much Sandra and Andy!

The cottage was lovely, and the log fire had been lit, it was warm and welcoming.

Being 'dinky' it was easy to keep tidy, the kitchen had all the facilities, and more compared to some other holiday lets we have used. The shower was so easy to use, and it was not an 'overhead' shower, I really cannot get on with those. The beds were comfortable and ample storage for clothing etc. We really recommend it.

      Absolutely Beautiful.

The cottage was clean, and well maintained. Nice of the owners to leave us some tea, coffee and biscuits. Would recommend. Lovely area, with stunning views from the garden. As mentioned in the description, the stairs are steep but we had no issues (although our dog wouldn't go up them
