We loved the location.
The property was spacious and included all of the expected facilities. The bedding and towels were all top notch. We had a broken toilet seat in the downstairs cloakroom which we reported and it was replaced within 24 hours. We had a great holiday so are reluctant to criticise but there are a couple of things we should mention. The wet room (which is the downstairs en-suite) is tired and in need of a refresh. Whilst the cottage was fairly clean, there were some shortcomings which we felt were mainly due to the end of holiday cleaners probably not having sufficient time to do a proper job. There was a lot of dust on the doors and skirting boards, and a fair amount of mould in the bathrooms plus the radiator in the wet room was very rusty. Finally, we think it would be very helpful if the access to the car park was mentioned in the description of the cottage as it is very narrow and because of car parking on the road opposite the cottage, can be difficult in anything larger than a medium size car. That said, we loved it and would certainly return.

The Water Tower Studio is ideally situated to explore East Devon amd Dorset.
We had a lovely stay here and the water tower is a super feature that makes this property a little different. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only complaint would be the smell of damp, especially upstairs in the smaller bedroom. Probably more of a concern for me as a parent to an asthmatic child, and upon investigation while looking for extra blankets we did find there is black mould within the cupboards in the roof space. We countered this by opening windows lots as the weather was mainly dry. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer to use and not come back with all the washing. The garden is also a lovely space where the children could run around.

We had a lovely little holiday in Bluebell cottage. Great location in Seaton, just a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs and seafront with the added bonus of the car park just behind. Had a bit of confusion with the parking permit but that was soon sorted out for us. Great base to travel to nearby places like Beer, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Bridport to name just a few. The cottage is lovely and cosy, comfy sofas and beds however the stairs really are steep and would be a challenge to young children and people with mobility issues. The garden was a nice plus too, shame the lack of sun didn’t allow us to sit out in it but we still really enjoyed our stay

The house was amazing.
It was really well decorated for Christmas which the grandchildren loved. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. My son in law cooked Xmas dinner for us all and there was lots of pots and pans. The house is less than 5 minutes walk from the sea front and there is a very handy shop next door - we were able to buy more prosecco even on Xmas day! There were lots of games to play and we enjoyed the time together. It would be lovely in the summer with the outdoor area and the balcony on the 4th floor. Thank you for making what was a challenging Xmas ( I lost my husband in June) a very enjoyable one

Lovely property, really spacious with comfortable furniture and no traffic noise despite being close to a road.
Close to the town centre which is within walking distance (although it's uphill all the way back :) and there are walks from the doorstep. I did part of the coast path which took in coast and woodland and I also visited the Donkey Sanctuary, which is free parking and entry and has a great cafe. I was only there for 2 full days so no time to do anything else. My only negative was that there was a strong smell of mould in the bathroom which I bought an airfreshener to mask. I did mention this in the visitor book so hopefully it will be addressed.
