      Can't recommend this cottage enough.

It's located at the back of the main street, down a short driveway and into a large cobbled parking area, therefore very quiet. From the minute we walked through the front door, it felt cosy and welcoming. The interior was immaculate, tastefully decorated and very stylish and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need and much, much more. There was even a wine fridge which sadly, wasn't working during our stay but there was plenty of room in the fridge anyway. The beds were really comfortable and the twin beds had the luxury of double duvets so there was no fighting to keep the duvet on the bed at night. The bathrooms were well-fitted and the showers powerful and hot. We loved the little patio garden but sadly the weather meant we didn't get a chance to use it. Locationwise, it was in the middle of everywhere we wanted to visit without having to travel any great distance. The cottage is just 2 minutes walk to the Ring O' Bells pub which does great meals (you do have to book) and the fish and chip shop is next door to the pub. There is a well-stocked Co-op just 2 minutes in the opposite direction, with well-organised traffic light system for social distancing. The cottage is a little gem which we'd love to rent next time we visit Cornwall.

A Cornish holiday cottage that exceeds expectations at every level!

Incredibly comfortable beds and bedding and well thought through en-suite bathrooms in each, through to the upstairs living area that ticks every box with many impressive finishing touches. Through to a door to the upstairs large balcony and relaxing furniture. Finally views across the Cornish countryside from your balcony and upstairs windows that can include a stunning sunset. The outdoor garden area is also extensive, well kept and great to relax in. Situated in a location that removes you completely from what can be a busy part of Cornwall and allows time to relax, with a wonderful owner next door that is there if you need anything but equally leaves you to completely enjoy your break undisturbed. For those with an EV, it’s located ten minutes from Kingsley Village and a plethora of high speed chargers alongside an M&S, Boots etc The location in North Cornwall is perfect and in established reach of within 15-20 minutes of the north coast beaches,Newquay,Padstow and Wadebridge. Having stayed in Cornish cottages for the last ten years this is by far the family’s favourite, so much so we’ve booked to return this summer.

The Coach House is in the perfect location for seeing Cornwall.

The property was fantastic. Comfortable and warm. Comfy beds and a good hot shower. We loved taking advantage of the huge verandah for an evening glass of wine and watch the sun set. We couldn’t get the BBQ to work as we couldn’t find how to switch the gas on and there wasn’t an instruction for that. The town is pretty jaded but about 6 miles away is a fab M&S so we got our shopping from there after a long day out. We ate in every night as we didn’t think the town had much to offer. But we were happy to do so. My husband and friend would recommend the Red Lion for a drink. We had booked to take our dog but didn’t last minute and I’m glad I didn’t as I’m not sure it was Flo friendly. Would happily stay there again.

The coach house is in a great location.

Was only a short drive to beaches and exploring around. Some good secure dog walking fields near by too. The owners are next door and although very lovely, it wasn't quite as private as we would have liked. The main reason we booked was it says secure garden and the pictures show really secure fencing. But the garden isn't as secure as we hoped as one side is just a border and a drop down the other side, which our 1yr old spaniel immediately found and then we had to keep him on a lead in the garden. So it wasn’t as relaxing as we had expected. So for us it wasn’t ideal, but we still had a lovely time. Great showers and comfy beds and nice bottle of wine to welcome us.

A beautiful 2 bedroom cottage in St Columb Major.

One bedroom with en suite but another shower by the other bedroom. Fabulous scenery from the cottage windows. Fully functional kitchen, oven & hob, fridge, microwave & even an air fryer. Utility room with a fridge freezer, washer & tumbler dryer. Under floor heating, central heating a log burner which we didn’t use as it was too warm. This was ideal for us visiting family in Truro. We also visited Porth Beach, Mawgan Porth Beach & Harlyn Bay. Our son brought his whippet Flo & this time of year dogs are allowed on the beaches so she had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend.
