A great deal of thought has obviously gone into this extremely quirky little bedsit.
Except for the lawned area which does require mowing, the on-line photos are quite accurate, the sofa and bed are comfortable and the bed linen and towels are of very good quality. The new fixtures and fittings are also of very good quality, it is a shame tho' that some of the smaller details (eg a toilet seat that actually fits the toilet) have been overlooked. The property has great potential but is obviously still a 'work in progress' when not let out. However, all kudos to the contact, Lu who was charming and did her very best to help with the couple of problems we encountered during our booked 4 night stay. Unfortunately for us, the area was just a little too noisy and we came home a day early.

The driveway is really steep (I now see it mentions it being cambered) & as I drove in, my car slid on the wet/mossy bricks & the wheel went over the ledge at the bottom (not suitable for low/small cars!
). Pool says exclusive use 10am - 6.30pm, but I was given specific times when I could/couldnât use it, which meant we felt we were in a schedule whilst on holiday. Also, we had to remove the pool covers and replace them after use, which was a 2 person job, so when I was on my own with the kids, it took time & effort. Roof leaked - nothing major, but I had to deal with it. The owner was pleasant & helpful when asked, but we really should have had more warning about some of these issues.

We only stayed 2 of our 3 booked nights.
The photo,s are very clever but do not prepare you for the cramped space. Kettle and toaster in living area floor, our camping days are well behind us and this did not live up to expectation. We could not face a 3rd night in such cramped space so we cut our losses and headed home early

The accommodation was clean, secure and perfectly suited our needs. There was a minor problem during our stay and these things happen, but it was resolved quickly.

Need to put a few chairs in there and a proper trash bin to put all the rubbish in it .
Few more cups only 2 in there some thing in the shower cubicle to put shower gel etc in there . a little rail of some sort . A fan in there as it was very Hot .
